Our Medieval Weddings are the most traditional and romantic of all... You and your husband are enthroned and crowned as King and Queen of the Feast. You toast each other from a medieval, two handled loving-cup (our present to you!). You cut the cake with a real medieval sword. We use rose petals not confetti. Greensleeves has truly romantic stained-glass windows, a wonderful chapel and an enchanting Four-Poster wedding suite... and of course the Baron and his Minstrels to entertain your guests. Plus there's superb music and dancing facilities to enjoy.
Our settings for wedding photographs are truly breathtaking! Designer made Medieval Wedding Gowns and other costumes are available for hire. Every aspect from photography to flowers can be handled for you. We have many special ideas to make your day unique!
Ye Ceremony
Hold your ceremony in our beautiful thatch-roofed chapel which seats 160, and is fully equipped with a sound system. If you don't have a minister we can arrange one for you.
Ye Reception
A full Medieval Banquet with rollicking fun, singing, and audience participation with the Baron and his Troubadours until about 11.00pm - with dancing until 1.00am. The reception includes the famous Loving Cup Ceremony, as well as the cutting of the cake (with a real medieval sword), the tossing of the Garter and Bouquet, and the speeches.
Ye Food
Eat as much as you like from a sumptuous five-course meal. Goblet of Mead - Paté' - Pottage a la the Lady Anne Boleyn with home-baked bread - Sallamagundy with Chilli Battered Fysshe - Roste Beef of Olde England & Roste Chyken served with Baked Earthapples and Potherbs - Iced Syllabub. (Subject to change without notice).
